Biomasse

Permanent increasing costs for oil and natural gas have now initiated a renaissance of biomass utilization in Germany also. In the long run, higher price stability for renewable primary products is expected than for oil and natural gas. A further advantage of biomass: the German Greenhouse Gas Emission Allowance Trading Act (TEHG) defines this energy source as CO2-neutral.

We have recently installed diverse biomass boilers and do additionally have long-time operation experience through our venture capital company HolSoTherm in Kölleda. As regards technical standards and the extremely short construction period of 1 year including authority approval, we have set high performance standards in Germany with the biomass cogeneration plant in Alperstedt which incinerates wood chips.
